One of them, Sister Ward, taught our family the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will always be grateful to my uncle, who had the desire and courage to go and talk to them, and to the sisters, who changed our lives forever.
While at those times the only way to keep in touch were the letters, we tried and did our best to not loose contact, but it was not easy.
Five years ago, when my sister moved to the States, she was able to get in touch with Sister Ward. We were so happy to be able to hear from her again.
Brenda came for Ina's wedding and mine's, something that we would have never thought.
This October Brenda and her husband were able to visit us in Germany while my parents were still here visiting. Such a blessing! We could not believe that we were together again. We shared memories, stories of our lives...we laughed, cooked, visited and lots lots more.
These are some of the pictures.
