Sixteen years ago, my uncle Eqerem, while traveling by train, meet with two sister missionaries.
One of them, Sister Ward, taught our family the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will always be grateful to my uncle, who had the desire and courage to go and talk to them, and to the sisters, who changed our lives forever.
While at those times the only way to keep in touch were the letters, we tried and did our best to not loose contact, but it was not easy.
Five years ago, when my sister moved to the States, she was able to get in touch with Sister Ward. We were so happy to be able to hear from her again.
Brenda came for Ina's wedding and mine's, something that we would have never thought.
This October Brenda and her husband were able to visit us in Germany while my parents were still here visiting. Such a blessing! We could not believe that we were together again. We shared memories, stories of our lives...we laughed, cooked, visited and lots lots more.
These are some of the pictures.

This is the famous Christmas store which stays open all year long.
Inside the store. Isn't it pretty?

 Window decor.

I love the building behind my parents. Rothenburg, to my opinon is like a fairy tale town.
 Fall in Germany. Absolutely beautiful!

Meet the parents!

It was time for mami and babi Muca to come and visit us again. They made it here just in time for general conference. We had a wonderful time listening to the talks and having delicious food.
Here is mami, she prepared this amazing dish with lots of vegetable and of course, meat. (tave turli)
Mike was in mood for baking that day. He made this apple crust dessert which we all loved.
Mami and babi receiving their birthday's gift.
The gardens of the castle. I never get tired of this beautiful place we live in.
I love this picture of my parents. I love them so much.

I absolutely love going to the temple and it gets more special when the members from Albania come for their temple trip. I am still amazed of how Heavenly Father works with our lives. I never thought or dreamed of living in Germany and having the blessing of being so close to the temple.
I consider myself so blessed and honored to have the opportunity of helping my dear friends. We had a wonderful time together. It was heavenly!

Our dinners together. Margrit and Kuno Muller served a mission in Albania. They always drive for 4 hours from Fraunfeld Switzerland to come for the week and be with the us.

I love to see the temple. I'm going there someday,
To feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God
A place of love and beauty.
I'll prepare myself while I am young;
This is my sacred duty!

My mom really wants me to translate this into Albanian so here you go:

Dua te shikoj tempullin,
Do te shkoj atje nje dite
Qe te ndiej Shpirtin e Shenjte, te degjoj e te lutem.
Pasi tempulli eshte shtepia a Zotit
Nje vend ku ka dashuri e bukuri
Do te pergatitem ndersa jam i ri;
Kjo eshte detyra ime e shenjte!

Dilsberg and chocolate fest!

The little town of Dilsberg is only 30 minutes away from us. Two weeks ago, on a beautiful Saturday morning, we decided to drive there with our good friends and see the chocolate fest.
Well, we thought it was going to be something big (music, local vendors, people everywhere, rolls and sausage...) but instead the chocolate fest was hosted by a little chocolate store where you could go inside and try all the chocolate that you want...I guess this makes it a fest, right?
We had a great time trying chocolate, hanging out with our friends and just enjoying the beautiful sunshiny day!

Can you see the little castle in the far distance?

Soni trying to pet Cotton (Cotton is our friends's pet) I am not really into pets, not because I don't like them (just to clarify) I just want to like/love them from a distance!

 Jessica being funny!
 Isn't this just beautiful?
