Fall 2011!

Fall, here in Heidelberg, has been absolutely gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I have never seen such beautiful colors mixed together.
I always find myself pointing at some more trees or hills and screaming: this is just BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I have taken some pictures but still don't do it justice. You just had to be here and experience it yourself.
Anyways, enjoy!

This was our Halloween pumpkin:) This year, Mike was a spatula (he got very creative) and I was the cook.
These are pictures from our living room window. We are still amazed to be living in this beautiful part of Germany.
You might be able to spot our camper.

 Outside our apartment...

 Fall clean up

 Our fall homemade pizza.
Ludwigsburg. We actually missed the pumpkin festival again this year. The theme for this year, as you can see, was dinosaurs.

 Already getting ready for Christmas!

Sixteen years ago, my uncle Eqerem, while traveling by train, meet with two sister missionaries.
One of them, Sister Ward, taught our family the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will always be grateful to my uncle, who had the desire and courage to go and talk to them, and to the sisters, who changed our lives forever.
While at those times the only way to keep in touch were the letters, we tried and did our best to not loose contact, but it was not easy.
Five years ago, when my sister moved to the States, she was able to get in touch with Sister Ward. We were so happy to be able to hear from her again.
Brenda came for Ina's wedding and mine's, something that we would have never thought.
This October Brenda and her husband were able to visit us in Germany while my parents were still here visiting. Such a blessing! We could not believe that we were together again. We shared memories, stories of our lives...we laughed, cooked, visited and lots lots more.
These are some of the pictures.

 Beautiful town of Rothenburg.

 Babi and Lance chilling...

This is the famous Christmas store which stays open all year long.
Inside the store. Isn't it pretty?

 Window decor.

I love the building behind my parents. Rothenburg, to my opinon is like a fairy tale town.
 Fall in Germany. Absolutely beautiful!
